Digital Documentation:

Digital imaging of your collection is essential. We do on-the-spot digital imaging for documentation, inventory control, and insurance.

Insurance:

We deal exclusively with Gerling Associates in Germany. They are specialists in all aspects of art insurance and being a German run company, they process claims quickly and efficiently. In order to get the best value for your coverage, there are several different policies to choose from to suit your collection's specific needs.

Artistic Archival Presentation and Display:

How to display the work to its best effect while maintaining the highest degree of environmental protection is often easily remedied. Only quality frames and archival products are used so that your photographs are protected from environmental hazards while the frames add to their visual and monetary value. With the correct light levels illuminating your photographs, you will be able to enjoy looking at them for many years, safe in the knowledge that they are adequately protected. Very often this is achieved by simply replacing your current glass with UV glass. We measure light levels, temperature and humidity in your home or office in order to establish the safest areas

Archival Storage:

Acidic mat board used by framers or improper plastic storage sleeves can discolor not only the photograph it is in contact with, but its neighbors as well. We can alleviate any environmental threat to your collection by assessing the situation and making sure that problems will not occur. This is often achieved by simply removing the culprit backing or replacing the protective sleeve. All storage conditions are assessed including humidity, temperature and light levels as well as the containers in which the photographs are kept.
